The French-style bistro Le Petit Jardin on Columbus Avenue has closed its doors after seven years of operation. The owners cited rising rents and staffing challenges as primary reasons for the closure. The space is currently being marketed to new tenants.

Le Petit Jardin was known for its classic French dishes and a modest wine list. Its closure marks another shift in the dining landscape of the Upper West Side, where several longtime establishments have recently shuttered. No replacement concept has been announced yet.
