Slice Haven, a pizzeria located in Jackson Heights, has added two new plant-based <a href="https://nycrestaurantvoice.com/new-yorks-cheese-witch-offers-readings-based-on-cheddar-patterns-20260418073946/">cheese</a> selections to its menu. The move is part of an effort to cater to the growing number of <a href="https://nycrestaurantvoice.com/chelseas-la-piazza-adds-vegan-options-to-seasonal-menu-20260418071506/">vegan</a> and lactose-intolerant customers.

The vegan cheeses are made from cashews and coconut oil, and are available on all <a href="https://nycrestaurantvoice.com/prince-st-pizza-to-open-first-brooklyn-location-20260418013956/">pizza</a> varieties starting this week. The management said they plan to monitor customer response before rolling out additional vegan dishes.

Slice Haven has been serving the neighborhood since 2014 and is known for its New York-style thin crust pies.
