A new vegan café called Leaf & Loaf has opened its doors on 3rd Avenue in East Harlem. The café offers plant-based sandwiches, salads, and smoothies. It aims to serve the growing demand for vegan options in the neighborhood.
Owner and founder Carlos Mendez said the menu sources ingredients from local farms. Prices range from $8 to $15. Leaf & Loaf is open daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
