Pizzeria Palma, a fixture on the <a href="https://nycrestaurantvoice.com/lower-east-side-bistro-adjusts-hours-amid-staffing-shortages-20260418071507/">Lower East Side</a> since 2010, has added <a href="https://nycrestaurantvoice.com/chelseas-la-piazza-adds-vegan-options-to-seasonal-menu-20260418071506/">vegan</a> <a href="https://nycrestaurantvoice.com/new-yorks-cheese-witch-offers-readings-based-on-cheddar-patterns-20260418073946/">cheese</a> options to its menu for the <a href="https://nycrestaurantvoice.com/prince-st-pizza-to-open-first-brooklyn-location-20260418013956/">first</a> time. The new choices include cashew-based and coconut-based cheeses to accommodate dairy-free customers. This initiative aims to broaden the pizzeria’s appeal to a more diverse clientele.

Owner and founder Marco Bellini explained that the change was in response to customer demand and the neighborhood’s shifting demographics. The traditional Neapolitan-style pizzas remain on the menu, with the vegan cheese offered as an alternative. Palma continues to operate primarily as a takeout and delivery establishment.
