Vino Rosso, an Italian restaurant in Tribeca, closed its doors last weekend. The restaurant, known for its extensive wine list and classic Tuscan dishes, operated for nearly seven years at Franklin Street.

Owners cited a shift in the local dining scene and changes in consumer habits as reasons behind the closure. Vino Rosso was one of the few remaining traditional Italian spots in the area as more casual and international concepts have moved in.

The space has been listed for lease, with no word yet on future tenants.
