El Molino, an East Harlem restaurant known for Latin American dishes, has revised its menu to include more Afro-Caribbean influences as of early April. New additions feature items such as oxtail stew, callaloo, and plantain-based sides.
Chef-owner Gabriela Torres said the changes reflect the neighborhood’s cultural diversity and her personal culinary heritage. The restaurant continues to serve its popular classics alongside new offerings.
Patrons have noted the expanded menu brings a broader representation of regional flavors. El Molino remains open for dine-in and takeout with updated hours from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
