The Violet Room in <a href="https://nycrestaurantvoice.com/chelseas-la-piazza-adds-vegan-options-to-seasonal-menu-20260418071506/">Chelsea</a> has extended its outdoor dining area in anticipation of increased <a href="https://nycrestaurantvoice.com/spring-inspired-dinner-ideas-from-a-recent-new-york-times-feature-20260417105554/">spring</a> patronage. The <a href="https://nycrestaurantvoice.com/801-restaurant-group-files-for-chapter-11-amid-financial-restructuring-20260418014016/">restaurant</a> added new tables and heaters to accommodate more guests.
Management said the expansion is a response to customer preferences for open-air dining post-pandemic. The Violet Room serves contemporary American cuisine and opened in 2020.
The outdoor seating is available Thursday through Sunday evenings and has been well received since its recent launch.
