Café Clementine in Soho has appointed Maya Li as its new executive chef. Li, formerly of The Modern, brings experience in contemporary American cuisine with an emphasis on seasonal ingredients. She officially began her tenure on April 1.
The restaurant plans to update its menu to incorporate Li’s approach while retaining some of its signature dishes. In a statement, Li said she looks forward to contributing to the restaurant's evolving culinary identity.
Café Clementine’s ownership indicated the change aims to refresh the dining experience and attract a broader clientele amid increased competition in the neighborhood.
