The Hearth, located on 23rd Street in Gramercy, has appointed Clara Huang as its new executive chef. Huang comes from a background in contemporary American cuisine, most recently working at a Michelin-starred restaurant in Boston.

Her arrival signals a shift for The Hearth, which has indicated plans to focus on seasonal, locally sourced ingredients while maintaining approachable menu items. Huang’s first dinner service is scheduled for April 25.

Management emphasized that the change aims to refine the restaurant’s culinary direction and expand its appeal within the neighborhood dining scene.
