Slice Works, a pizzeria in Bushwick, has added <a href="https://nycrestaurantvoice.com/vegan-broccoli-rabe-pasta-and-seasonal-strawberries-featured-in-new-york-dining-20260417042105/">vegan</a> cheese to its menu <a href="https://nycrestaurantvoice.com/burgundy-wines-at-50-and-under-options-for-modest-spending-20260416210248/">options</a>. The change comes as part of the <a href="https://nycrestaurantvoice.com/italian-restaurant-landmark-reopens-amid-april-nyc-dining-arrivals-20260416210155/">restaurant</a>'s efforts to accommodate more dietary preferences.

The vegan cheese is supplied by a local producer and is available on all pizza varieties. <a href="https://nycrestaurantvoice.com/giants-co-owner-steve-tisch-to-transfer-ownership-stake-to-next-generation-20260416211309/">Owner</a> Maria Lopez said customer feedback was a key factor in the decision.

Slice Works remains open seven days a week and continues to offer traditional and specialty pies alongside the new vegan accommodations.
